LONDON: Britain is finally waking up to the threat of sex selective abortions – a shocking social practice rampant in countries like India which is now being practiced by southeast Asian communities in UK.
A cross-party group of women MPs have now joined hands to introduce a Bill that makes it explicitly illegal for doctors to abort fetuses on grounds of gender alone.
